Project Manager for Software Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking for a experienced Project Manager to manage organization of key client software development projects. You’ll be interfacing directly with the client, translating requests into tasks and assigning work to devlopers. Your highest priority at all times is ensuring quality work is delivered to the client, and that the client is informed & satisfied at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for a remote work candidate. You will be often speaking with the client who is in the US Central & Eastern timezones, and you will be expected to be available for video calls in these timezones.

Experience with Salesforce, Activecampaign, Google Data Studio are all beneficial.

Responsibilities
Meet with the key client stakeholders on a regular basis, managing expectations and resolving roadblocks.
Attend high-level strategy meetings between our CTO and the client, translating relevant discussion points into projects and tasks.
Gather intelligence from customer conversations and interviews, and translate these into product features that can be executed by the development team.
Identify the key goals and metrics with which to measure progress and success against for each project we undertake
Develop & define milestones in the software development pipeline, adding context & detail for the development team.
Create tasks for the software development team to work on
Manage time estimates & deadlines, ensuring work is delivered on time and potential roadblocks are identified ahead of time.
Gather user feedback on software deployments, taking note of pain points and areas of unnecessary friction.
Lead a small team toward a common goal.

Prioritize projects by importance, triaging support requests, and identifying which issues are urgent and important to the client to execute. 

Responsible for exercising tact and professionalism when problem-solving and resolving conflicts, maintaining a willingness to take corrective actions to fix mistakes.

This is a cross between a scrum master, client manager and product manager. You will be allocated 25 hours per week to satisfy our clients needs.


Requirements and skills

Have experience with Salesforce.
Have excellent use of English.
Available in US time zones.
Educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering.
Solid understanding of the Agile development practices and the software development lifecycle.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
Leadership and supervision.
