Job Description:
The Medical Virtual Assistant is responsible for the delivery of services or projects contracted by the Client. Services or projects include the following:
- Scheduling - Manage the practice calendar by scheduling appointments in advance and sending appointment reminders to patients with upcoming visits.
- Records Management - Tracking and recording all information for each patient is necessary to create an accurate medical history for future diagnoses.
- General patient inquiries - Clearing emails and handling administration-related inquiries, such as payments, facilitating referrals, or transcribing documents.
- Insurance Processing - Conduct pre-authorization of inquiries with insurance or medical aids and complete claims paperwork.
Requirements:
- Must be Superstar Va Medical Assistant working remotely..
Proficient in MS Office; Google Suite, RingCentral or any VOIP system.
- Medical background preferred.
- BPO or similar experience preferred
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, organized and systematic.
- Process oriented and follow strict deadlines.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be a good team player.
