We are a small game studio primarily working in visual novels and erotica games. We'd like to hire an experienced Wordpress developer/designer to help us put together a good looking website that showcases our games and a features a blog. It doesn't need to be a 100% original design, so theme/layouts can be used.
However, we obviously expect the dev to known how to handle customizations and changes in a way that won't break the theme in the future if it receives an update. Custom-made layouts for this specific project are also a possibility.

Project overview

We don't have a clear idea of how we want this website to look, but dark themes are probably a good reference since we work with erotica. We don't want the page to feel porny nor sketchy, though. We'd like it to look professional and modern despite the adult theme. We recently bought a Wordpress theme we thought could look good after some tweaking (https://themeforest.net/item/squadforce-esports-gaming-wordpress-theme/25000542), but we don't have the skills nor the time to deal with this ourselves. That layout is already running in a hosting service, and we know how to make fresh Wordpress installs. It'll be great if we can work on the top of this layout since we already paid for it. However, we're open to buy other theme if needed. The website must contain: - blog with comments section (and anti-spam); - showcase/game list page; - contact page. Optional: - a section/option to play online some of our HTML5 games directly in the website. The layout must deal with: - An ads area would be an interesting idea to explore since our current website has good traffic; - Area to show Discord and Patreon widgets.
