Troubleshoot Cpanel/Domain/Email issue

We recently purchased a domain and added it to our server. But when we configured an email via cpanel, we are unable to send o receive emails.
If i Sent an email from Gmail to our address, this is the error message we get:
The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. Learn more at https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7720 [pafcon.africa 2a06:98c1:3121::1: timed out] [pafcon.africa 2a06:98c1:3120::1: timed out] [pafcon.africa 188.114.97.1: timed out] [pafcon.africa 188.114.96.1: timed out]

If sending from our email to Gmail, this is the error message:

    smtp error from remote mail server after mail from:<admin@pafcon.africa> SIZE=1670:
    451 unable to verify sender: retry timeout exceeded
