In 2024, the growing influence of complexity theory and the increasingly interconnected nature
of global systems and are reshaping traditional understandings of leadership and management.
While leadership and management have often been viewed as distinct yet complementary
roles, contemporary literature is increasingly challenging these distinctions, especially in
environments where uncertainty, rapid change, and complexity dominate.
