As Support Engineer, help us troubleshoot, diagnose and fix production software issues, develop
monitoring solutions, and perform software maintenance and configuration. You will have the opportunity
to lead high-visibility and challenging projects. You will interact regularly with your customers to drive
efficiency, as well as working with leaders in Sales, Product Management, and Engineering.
Your
solutions will have a direct impact on both our partners as well as our end users directly! This job requires
you to take the initiative and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will
define your success. High Impact production issues often require coordination between multiple
Development, Operations and IT Support groups, so you get to experience a breadth of impact with
various groups.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of Company's platform in order to effectively map partner requirements to existing
functionality, as well as proposing alternatives and/or enhancements to the existing feature set
- Capable of being a resource to provide guidance for complex technical issues, and ensure rapid
identification of emerging issues
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix web applications, back-end systems, and data stores, with a strong
emphasis on launch-and-iterate development
- Analyze work processes to determine inefficiencies and opportunities for automation Minimum qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluency in Python & Java
- Expert using MySQL, able to perform complex SQL queries
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues
- Expert knowledge of log/text file management/parsing tools such as grep or experience with more advanced
tools such as Splunk or New Relic
