Availability:
Approximate at the low minimum end of hours: 15-20 hrs / week.

Location: Remote worker. Familiarity with New York State Residential standards and ability to adapt to local Long Island Residential Code overlays.
Description: We are seeking a highly experienced residential detailer. The ideal candidate must be familiar with residential detailing on the East Coast and take a Revit file from Design Development into Construction Drawings and must be able to draft details within Revit. Be able to apply knowledge of applicable codes in the development of drawings: New York State/New York State Residential & International Building Code within Long Island towns & villages.
Produce detailed, Design Development / Construction Drawing, plans & sections as part of Design Development & Construction Drawing phases. Must be familiar with wood frame construction details (walls floors roofs), roofing details in shingle-asphalt-and standing seam, waterproof detailing, foundations and masonry wall details, detailing at doors & windows. Should be able to keynote within Revit for detail call-outs on plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Ability to create & coordinate door & window schedules, create door & window elevations, electrical plans, ceiling plans, and plumbing riser diagrams. Ability to be able to overlay structural Revit files on architectural Revit files and check for coordination issues is also a plus but not critical.
