Physics Story Researcher - Underknown

Digital video publisher Underknown is looking for a qualified  Physics researcher to join our tight-knit team.
We've experienced rapid growth over the last 2 years and hope to find a researcher who shares our passion for expanding our audience, investigative work, enterprise stories, science, history, and nature.

*Who You Are…

-You have a deep love of, interest and education in science, specifically in Physics.
-You understand how to turn data into interesting content, possess the skills needed to organize and edit information, while also contributing to conversations about research methods and decisions.
-You have the ability to synthesize information to create actionable, succinct evidence-based stories.

-You communicate clearly and regularly: set expectations, deliver on established deadlines and communicate research results in an easy-to-understand manner.
You are someone with a natural curiosity and a can-do attitude.


*What You’ll Do…
-Collaborate with video producers and editors to deliver stories that educate and engage our digital platform users.
-Work with our global team while understanding localized contexts for all content.
-Become a research expert in areas such as science, history, nature, curiosity, ..
.
-Ensure all information is correct and coming from reliable sources while making certain this information is properly cited and factually accurate and up-to-date.
-Research and monitor science, history and natural sources for interesting story ideas.
-Communicate concepts and ideas to the team.

-Manage your time; self-manage assigned work within given timelines.
-Embrace contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence.
Assist with content, data, and other projects as required in conjunction with other team members.



Underknown is a Toronto-based social video company producing highly engaging, data-driven web series devoted to science, history, geography, and culture.
