Immediate position available for an Accounts Payable Clerk.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and needs to work well independently, as well as within a team setting.
In addition to a strong knowledge of accounts payable, the ideal candidate will have an overall understanding of accounting principles.
Essential Job Duties Include:
-Preparing and maintaining proper records for all accounts payable
-Investigating discrepancies
-Preparing various internal payroll reports
-Following standard accounting practices and procedures
-Reconciling bank statements
-Data entry and 10-key typing skills with accuracy
-Back-up support to the receptionist
1-2 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience is preferred.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Proficient with MS Word, Excel and QuickBooks
-Background will be viewed
