In this role, you will manage a portfolio of several short-term rental properties located in New York. You will provide excellent customer service via written messages, coordinate with cleaning and maintenance staff, and monitor guest reviews and nightly rates to ensure maximum revenue.
This is a part-time position where you can work from home. While the amount of work can be very low on many days, the property manager should be available to respond from 10am to 10pm 7 days a week.
Daily Tasks
• Respond quickly to customer questions and new reservation requests, 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm. Able to handle emergencies outside of these hours.
• Assist guests during check in to ensure easy access to apartments.
• Ensure that the properties calendars and availability are up to date on all platforms.
• Coordinate and maintain the property cleaning calendar.
Weekly Tasks
• Monitor placement in search results on various platforms.
• Monitor reviews and work with Airbnb to remove unfair reviews.
• Monitor calendar availability and work to insure maximum occupancy.
• Ensure property website is working.
Qualifications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills in written English
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel and other information systems
• Completion of a bachelor’s degree or progress towards completion
• Previous customer service experience is a benefit.
