Operations Manager Needed

I run a book publishing business called Learning Through Activities. We create and publish children’s books on Amazon. We’re growing at a consistent rate and we’re looking to expand the business further by adding a talented and loyal team member.



I'm looking for an Operation Manager who can manage the business and delegate business tasks accordingly to run my publishing business optimally.

$300/ Month.


Your Job:
- Manage publishing operations from getting books written to having them ready to be published on Amazon.
- Track every book process through our Book... leer más tracking spreadsheet
- Talk to my team and workers asking for updates and making sure jobs are done on time and done accordingly
- Follow sop’s made for you in the exact step by step instructions listed (every task is explained through sop documents and more complex tasks are explained through video tutorials)
- have 4 books finished and ready to be published every month
- quick replies, following every instruction from me
- report back to me after every task is completed
- message my team and workers through the following platforms – slack, upwork, fiverr, and publishing companies (hot ghost writer + urban writers)



work flow order (tasks you will need to begin, manage, track and finalize)
- get book written
- get book cover made
- get book edited
- get book illustrated
- get book graphic designed
- get book description made
- get the book formatted
- finalise everything and send finished files to me

note* for every task listed above you will be sent a project outline from me to send to the team member and begin the project.


Here are some of the characteristics we require from our team members:

Extensive experience or background knowledge with your position
Fluent with the English language
Attention to detail and high quality, consistent work is important to them
Deadlines being met (it can’t be stressed enough how critical this is)
Frequent, easy, and open communication via [Slack]
Open and willing to take constructive feedback
A separate room to work in
Your own laptop to work with
No excuses are given about why work couldn’t be done
