I reported to Whatsapp some extortion text which was sent to me from a former acquaintance. I wanted to block and report this text and send her to whatsapp, and as I did so WhatsApp deleted all of my texts from that account including the offending extortion text. WhatsApp support informs me that I cannot get this text back, but that is in a file, a msgstore.db.crypt file.  I cannot open this file or get it to work in WhatsApp as it should. Do you think you can open this file and get it into text form, so I can see if you offending text is there?
