Grupo Cataratas is the largest operator of national parks in Brazil. They operate;

1, Paineiras-Corcovado visitor centre and transport to Cristo Redentor.
2, AquaRio - the largest aquarium in South America
3, Cataratas do Iguaçu
4, Marco das Tres Fronteiras
5, EcoNoronha island
6, Rio Zoo (opening Q1 2020).


The business is harmonising the digital marketing, e-commerce, and crm capabilities in order to have one central system for identifying and serving guests. Cataratas use Limber for business intelligence and back-office, Vtex for e-commerce and are making final decisions on the CRM provider.

We need an IT expert with deep experience in the e-commerce field, ideally with experience from the travel and tourism industry, to help the team make the integrations work between the various company and 3rd party software and hardware.

Project overview

I am a consultant with many years experience in the theme park and visitor attraction industry, with a base in the Retail and FMCG sector before that. Grupo Cataratas have engaged me to lead a number of strategic projects, including the overall Digital Transformation project.

At the least, the knowledge required for this professional is: solid knowledge in NODE-based or similar programming language, knowledge in integration techniques and use of APIs with or without integration bus.
