Impact of Remote Work on an Organisation

Authoring this article was an opportunity to understand the transformations caused by the accelerated growth of the globalized and technological world, which introduced remote work as a concept for organizations, which has become more evident because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which impacted the world in the previous years. As a result, remote work has become one of the best strategies for economic and health issues in this pandemic world. Organizations had an impact on their daily lives and needed to adjust to remote work, modifying their practices and activities during this transition period. In recent times, remote work has become increasingly popular as a way of work management and has shown promise in several sectors where information technology is present. In this new scenario, it is essential to understand the established changes in terms of benefits and challenges associated with remote work as an impact on organizations.This project seeks to understand the benefits and challenges that remote work has brought to the team's productivity, as well as changes in organizational structures, bringing up secondary and primary topics in which they were possible to understand more about this new way of working within organizations. Contributions to this project were based on bibliographic analysis and data collection obtained only from employees between 20 and 40 years old with at least 8 months of experience in remote work. This study had the participation of 100 respondents. In addition, this article used Pearson's correlation and a sample T-test to reach conclusions. In short, positive transformations were identified in this remote scenario that was so favourable in terms of productivity, economics, work-life balance, and flexibility, perceived by remote employees of organizations. Finally, in the context of remote work, flexibility along with productivity are important tools for the better development of remote work within companies. It was possible to generate knowledge in the form of a set of recommendations that could be implemented in companies, as well as a greater number of results of responses collected through surveys with different methodologies that could be used in future studies, allowing suggestions on how to carry out more investigations broad and comprehensive.
