Project Description
Objective:
To collect detailed information about parishes within the dioceses or archdioceses in the USA.
Scope:
The project involves accessing 197 dioceses or archdioceses in the USA listed in column B of the provided Excel sheet. These institutions encompass approximately 17,000 parishes for which data is required.
Tasks:
1.    Access the List of Parishes:
o    Find the list of parishes within each of the 197 dioceses or archdioceses.
2.    Database Preparation:
o    Create a comprehensive database with the following information for each parish:
    Parish Name
    Full Address
    Zip Code (separate field)
    Contact Email
    Website URL
    Parish Website
    Name(s) of the Parish Priest(s) (sometimes this information can be found on the parish's own website if not available on the diocesan website)
3.    Electronic Address Information:
o    Identify the developer of the parish website.
O    Check for social media presence and provide the following details:
•  Instagram Handle (provide the link)
•  Number of Instagram Followers
•  Facebook Page (provide the link)
•  Number of Facebook Followers
•  YouTube Channel (provide the link)
•  Number of YouTube Subscribers
•  Google Business Address
•  Number of Google Reviews (provide the link)
•  Google Ranking

4.    Deliverables:
•  A detailed and organized database in a specified format (e.g., Excel, CSV) containing the requested information for each parish.
•  Documentation of the scraping mechanism used.
•  The code/scripts utilized for scraping to enable future updates when needed.
