Contexto general del proyecto
The film aims to bring the humanitarian benefits of cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications to a broader audience - explicitly using the example of hyperinflation, government mismanagement, and capital controls in Argentina. We want to show human fates such as Argentines, once part of the middle class and driven into poverty, who try to make a living and protect their belongings. Or immigrants from Venezuela sending money to their families across the border. The list of possible stories is open at this point. The matter should not be explained factually but presented visually using the stories of individual people. The focus doesn’t lie on interviews with experts but rather on personally following people’s everyday lives. This way, we want to show what special significance blockchain applications have for people in Argentina. It is essential to show use cases that are already in practice, not just potential future applications. With this storytelling approach, we aim for an emotional result rather than a factual explanation of the problem and solution.
