Responsibilities: • Work closely with designers and clients to translate visual designs into dynamic functional interfaces for web and mobile projects • Requires active participation in all phases of the site development life cycle from functional specs, architecture, programming, testing and implementation • Translate static PSD design layouts into dynamic pixel-perfect web/mobile interfaces while keeping the intended creative integrity (Photoshop experience a must) • Develop sites using responsive techniques • Design, create and modify websites • Integration of social media platforms • Comfort debugging existing code • Integrating third-party restful APIs Qualifications: ▪ Experience should include e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and API integration ▪ Strong command of essential web technologies including: HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/ jQuery, & Bootstrap ▪ Strong understanding of WordPress development, custom WordPress functionality, plugins, and themes ▪ Experience integrating third-party restful APIs ▪ Experience working with Linux hosting platforms (cPanel, Plesk, phpMyAdmin) ▪ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills ▪ Understanding of how to utilize code repositories like GitHub ▪ Optimizing page load times ▪ Strong attention to detail ▪ Understanding of best practices for SEO ▪ Knowledge of cross-browser issues and solutions ▪ Fluent in English is a must
