Project Brief: Website Speed Optimization for Gaia Marketing Lab

Project Overview:
Gaia Marketing Lab is seeking a skilled web developer to optimise the speed and performance of our website (https://gaiamarketinglab.com) for both mobile and desktop. The goal is to improve user experience by achieving higher scores on Google PageSpeed Insights.

Objectives:
1. Improve Page Speed Scores: Aim for a score of 90+ on both mobile and desktop.
2. Enhance Performance Metrics: Focus on First Contentful Paint (FCP), Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Total Blocking Time (TBT), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).

Tasks:
1. Conduct a Performance Audit: Analyze the current performance issues using Google PageSpeed Insights.
2. Optimize Images and Assets: Compress and properly size images, minify CSS and JavaScript files, and leverage browser caching.
3.Improve Server Response Time: Implement measures to reduce server response time.
4. Eliminate Render-Blocking Resources: Ensure that CSS and JavaScript do not block rendering.
5. Enhance Overall Efficiency: Apply lazy loading for images, and optimize font loading.
