I'm in the US with a self-funded game studio. We have a new game that needs some data entry on an ongoing basis. But it's not just any kind of data entry.
It involves having some past exposure and interest in art and design. We have created our own utilities that one would use to provision for the data entry which actually involves adding and assembling graphics and art items into the game that our artists have created.
It would be an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about the games world and we would train to use the utilities we have created for "data entry" of the art and graphics objects into the game.
I would be your primary contact but there are others in the company you would need to coordinate some tasks with.
Requirements:
- You must be fluent in English
- High energy type of person
- High loyalty and dedication to whatever project you engage in
- Very high interest in decorating games (for instances the Sims game franchise)
- Quick Leaner
- Good internet connection and a quiet place at home to work from without external interruptions during work hours.
- Past experience using Skype voice. We do a lot of screensharing on Skype to teach and collaborate.
Bonus Qualities:
- Familiarity with graphics/art authoring tools/programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, etc.
- Love for playing online and mobile games of all types (especially female centric games such as Sims)
- Near US native command of English
