Hello
WormsCR is a new entrepreneurship based in Costa Rica that looks to demystify insect consumption and break all taboos around it. As part of the project, we would like to come up with a crowdfunding campaign that gives us the seed capital to take the business to the next level. For that campaign, we would like help developing a video that captures the message we want to transmit while making the company look formal and serious.
We are open to proposals in case you are interested in lending us a hand with this project.
This is something similar to what we are looking for:

Regarding the message, this is what we plan on communicating:
The world holds over 7.5 billion people, of which 1 billion cannot suffice their daily nutritional needs and are hungry. By 2050, there will be over 9,7 billion people in the world, and malnutrition across the globe is expected to increase even more as current food sources use significant amounts of resources such as feed, water, and soil to be produced, and are not going to be escalable for the 2050 nutritional needs of human population. Given this picture, innovation in agriculture and livestock need to take place so that new ways to feed our people can be developed and world hunger can be overcomed.
Confronted with this situation, WormsCR has come to contribute with its grain of sand. This entrepreneurship focuses on breeding mealworms to create insect based products like protein bars or burgers. From a nutritional standpoint, insects have 3 times more protein per calorie than beef, pork, chicken and fish.
They are also 50% less fatty, and have dietary fiber unlike them. From a resource standpoint, they need 10 times less feed to produce the same amount of protein, and need 15 times less water and soil. Finally, their contribution to greenhouse effect gases is insignificant, while livestock accounts for 14% of all greenhouse emissions from human activities.
Understanding all the benefits of eating insects, Worms CR wants to challenge the variety of misconceptions that are preventing insects from becoming a mainstream food source in western countries while we help fight the environmental and nutritional challenges society will face in the upcoming years.
In Worms CR, we wanted to encourage you to support the cultural change we are promoting and break the existing paradigms around insect consumption that prevent our society to move towards more sustainable habits. Your contribution will make you part of this change.
