I need a logo for my new small education company, The Ember Quill. As I envision it, the essential elements of the logo are a porcupine and a fiery quill that is reminiscent of a medieval writing quill. I am open to many different designs, but designs should make a single quill stick out visually even if multiple quills are depicted.

I want the logo to convey erudition/learning yet still be warm and approachable. If possible, I want the logo to at least give the impression (subtle or overt) that I am living in the 21st century and can use technology

I'm hoping to launch the website in early August, so a fairly quick turnaround is needed. Disponsable en espanol tambien.

Project overview

The Ember Quill is a company that prepares high school students and adults for national exams they need to take to gain admission to university and graduate school programs. Soon it will prepare adults for law school admissions and also offer educational consulting services. It is possible that this company will operate not only in Texas but also in South America. The logo will be used on my company website and on marketing material like business cards and flyers.
