Sourcing Manager Wanted for Fast Growing Ecommerce Company - Full Time Role

We're a new ecommerce company with capital ready to launch over 20 products in the next 18 months. We are hiring a sourcing expert based in Mexico to find suppliers for our latest products locally, and also develop international relationships with suppliers in Vietnam and Taiwan. The successful applicant will be a key part of our team and will grow as we grow.


role description & responsibilities:
- create outreach email and specifications pdf to send to suppliers
- find and develop relationships with local sourcing agents in other countries, specifically vietnam and taiwan
- outreach all suppliers and document everything in our monday board as per our company sop's
- negotiate terms with suppliers
- get samples created and manage communications to ensure they're being produced as per our specifications
- get sample sent to inspector and make sure we receive an accurate inspection report
- finalize po including ddp shipping
- action an order with the supplier
- work with our designer to create the packaging design, product inserts, product graphics and amazon image stack
- work with a photographer to produce professional photos
- work with a videographer to produce professional videos
- work with a copywriter to write the listing copy

- successfully source and order new products
- build a rolodex of reliable suppliers and sourcing agents in key manufacturing countries
- document all supplier information into monday
- continue to develop sop's in our organization
- reduce current reliance on china for our supply chain by sourcing products in other countries
- reduce workload and reliance on a successful supply chain from management team
- create world-class products with our designers, copywriters and photographers

- great spoken and written english
- great spoken and written spanish
- fast worker with quick turnarounds
- past experience sourcing products
- local manufacturing connections in mexico in several manufacturing industries
- ability to develop relationships with suppliers and sourcing agents in vietnam and taiwan
- follows sop's to a tee
- clear communication
- experience with slite, monday, and slack
- creative thinker and problem solver
- shows initiative
- confident
