Source electronic components for a new company

Hello, I am a one-person company and an Engineer. I have been to Taiwan and have had a great experience there. I am looking to develop an electronics prototype. And looking for someone based in Taiwan to interface with electronics makers. This is intended to be a remote position, where you email and call suppliers. And where I give very specific information, therefore you do not need to be an electronics or manufacturing expert. # **Job Title: Bilingual Personal Assistant (Mandarin/English) - Electronics Manufacturing Liaison**

**Responsibilities:**

- Interface with Taiwanese electronics manufacturers on behalf of our company.
- Research Taiwanese electronics manufacturers on behalf of our company
- Manage and respond to emails using the American company's email account, proficiently switching between Mandarin and English as needed.
- Receive instructions and assignments from the American team and translate them accurately for effective communication with suppliers.
- Provide cultural context and references when necessary to ensure smooth interactions.
- Facilitate communication between the American team and Taiwanese suppliers to enhance collaboration.

**Qualifications:**

- Proficient in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication skills and cultural awareness to navigate cross-cultural interactions.
- Optional Bonus: experience in a personal assistant or liaison role, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Optional Bonus: An understanding of electronic manufacturing processes.
