Qgis Work Creating Hillshade from Dem

This is a bit out of left field, but I'm wondering if you would be interested in a small bit of QGIS consulting work. I've been trying to solve a problem I have with pixelated hillshading in some mapping work I've created. I've been asking friendsĀ and seeking help online but no success so far.
I'd be keen to hire someone to solve the issue. Any chance you'd be interested in a small gig like this?
The challenge I have is this:
I am having trouble with hillshade on a QGIS project I have been working on for some time. The hillshade I get using a DEM comes out with significant pixelation (See image below).
I've used the same DEM in a separate project and I don't get the pixelation at all. My problem with pixelation occurs when I change the crs to wgs 84 / utm, which i need to do to make the map look accurate for use navigating in the mountains.. I would start a new project except that I have very elaborate Map Themes set up in the original (problematic) project that I can't seem to transfer to a new project.
A stripped down version of the project QGIS files and layers can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Kt6TwXI2SBzjjT21kUr2MJMXcTVV3YEp/view?usp=sharing

If I use the dem without converting to the crs to wgs 84 / utm the above process i get smoothed hillshade from the dem (no pixelation) but the same dem produces a pixelated hillshade if i convert to the crs to wgs 84 / utm which i need to do.
I'm looking for help to create a hillshade layer without the pixelation.
Let me know if this is something you could help me with, or if you know someone who might be able to.
Thanks a bunch,

Matt
Here's a sample of the map with pixelated hillshade.
