QA Tester Needed for Functionality and ux/ui testing in startup saas application

We are a startup with a small budget seeking a QA Tester to rigorously test all functions and ux/ui aspects of our saas application. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with our development team to ensure a high-quality product. Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create detailed test plans and test cases covering all functional, usability, and performance aspects of the application.
Functional Testing: Perform manual and automated testing of application features to verify they meet specified requirements.
ux/ui testing: evaluate the user interface and user experience for consistency, accessibility, and adherence to design standards.
Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear and actionable feedback for the development team.
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature implementations to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes, and contribute to QA documentation and test reports.
Compensation:
$250 for the full MVP project.
Payment is made after completion, testing, and verification of each sprint’s deliverables.
Expectations:
Meetings: Participate in standups (Mon-Wed-Fri) to provide updates on testing progress and discuss any blockers—also, 1 hour on Sunday and 1 Hour on Saturday for planning and review.
Communication: Use Slack for team communication and JIRA or ClickUp for project management and bug tracking.
Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Code Management: Familiarity with GitHub is beneficial for understanding code changes related to testing.
Skills Required:
Experience in Software QA Testing: Proven experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
Manual Testing Proficiency: Strong skills in manual testing techniques for web applications.
Automated Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in identifying issues and inconsistencies.
ux/ui understanding: basic understanding of ux/ui principles to effectively test user interfaces.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for clear bug reporting and collaboration.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and working in a sprint-based development environment.
