Process detail:

Salespeople bring an approved order from a client. They should input client data and timing information.

After delivery date is set , a production personell will take the order and record starting date , order materials needed, process the order and record finishing date to send to production.

Each salesperson should be able to see the status of their projects and detect any problems that could cause a delay so action can be taken to correct the situation.

There should be a record of materials ordered and any observations needed. As well as information on comoletion of material aquisition.

Once the order is delivered to production we should be able to see different stages of production and take action if a delay will occur. For this to work profuction manager should input timing data of each production stage.

The purpose of the program is to notify all parties time left to delivery date and escalate to managers when time is too close by sending messages or emails. And later on , be able to calculate production capacity to be able to give projected delivery dates of new orders to salesmen.

The program should also set alarms when data is missing because someone has not input the required data

Finally should be able to deliver reports and provide means of dowloading database information.
