Powerapps Barcode Scanner

Hi

I am time poor or I would complete this project myself.  I need an application built in PowerApps.  I know how easy it is, and as I said I am time poor and work busy so I have to focus in other areas right now.

Too many opportunities too little time.

I already have an SQL backend set up and in operation.  I have the requisite information to access this from my desktop applications.  I have built the model in MS Access for the data structure overall and it will require addition of a table (as I recall it) into the existing SQL.

So if you cant work with SQL yell out as I can cover this if must.

In words the situation is I run a team of staff who work on various sites and deliver chemical product to swimming pools on these sites.
Some of these sites have a pool, some have a pool and a spa, and others have well shall I say 22 pools is on one site we look after.
The clients want us to track the chemical deliverables to each pool.

Currently we do this manually.  The manual system works by raising a job card for each pool and then delivering the chemical via an online manual form to each pool.  This is inefficient and prone to errors.


Much better if we can scan the products bar code and 'deliver' to the pool that way.
My vision is the team member will log on to powerapps, pull up the scanner tool, select the pool they are working on and simply scan teh bar code and tell the app they are delivering 1,2 or whatever number of items.  The backend will look after the paper side so to speak and I can query it to get the deliveries for the month for the invoice.


Trust this makes sense.
I have teh structure worked out and can post that as an accdb example.  Although I havent built any forms etc.


All our team is using Iphone, however PowerApps work across multiple platforms.
Once the concept is grasped I think a person more familiar with Powerapps than I am, will push this over in a single day.
