the ideal size of your ebook cover art is a height/width ratio of 1.6:1. This means that for every 1,000 pixels in width, the image should be 1,600 pixels in height. To ensure the best quality for your image, particularly on high definition devices, the height of the image should be at least 2,500 pixels.

Ideal dimensions for cover files are 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.
Note: The minimum image size allowed is 1,000 x 625 pixels. The maximum image size allowed is 10,000 x 10,000 pixels.

size: 5.25" x 8" (13.34 x 20.32 cm)

barcodes
all back covers must have a vector barcode on the back cover. The barcode must be at least 2" (50.8 mm) wide and 1.2" (30.5 mm) tall, and at least 0.25" (6 mm) from the cover’s edge. The barcode can only be pure black.



Cover formatting
Covers should be one continuous image centered left to right on the spine.
Flatten all layers in the native file.
Bleed of 0.125" (3.2 mm) is required on all sides.
Bleed at the bottom of the page cannot exceed 0.125" (3.2 mm).
Any content not intending to be trimmed off should be a minimum of 0.25" (6.4 mm) from the outside cover edge.
All fonts in the cover should be embedded in the native program before publishing.

Spine measurement = 0.0635 mm * page count ==> 12.7 for 200 pages
Spine Width = 1.6 mm + (Spine measurement) + 1.6 mm = 15.9
bleed = 3 mm
trim size = 5.25" x 8" (13.34 x 20.32 cm)
Cover Height = Bleed + Trim Height + Bleed = 3 mm + 20.32 cm + 3 mm = 20.92 cm
Cover Width = Bleed + Back Cover Width + Spine Width + Front Cover Width + Bleed
