Modification/customisation of a defunct Apk application

We are seeking a skilled Android app developer to modify and customize the source code of an existing Android application. The primary objectives are:

Server Migration: Update the app to connect to our own server, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
CD Key Verification Removal: Modify the app to bypass or remove CD key verification, allowing any key entered to be accepted.
This is a one-time project with potential for future collaboration on similar tasks.

Responsibilities:
Analyze the app's source code (or decompiled APK if source code is unavailable).
Modify the server connection settings to point to our server, ensuring proper communication and functionality.
Identify and remove or bypass the CD key verification logic.
Perform thorough testing to ensure the app works flawlessly after modifications.
Deliver the modified and working app within the agreed timeframe.

Requirements:
Proven experience in Android app development and source code modification.
Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, or relevant languages.
Familiarity with decompiling APKs and reverse engineering Android apps (if required).
Experience with modifying server APIs and integrating them into apps.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug app issues effectively.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of smali code and tools like Baksmali, APKTool, or Simplify.
Experience with secure server connections and API integration.
Understanding of ethical and legal considerations in app modifications.
