We are looking to hire an experienced aws certified expert to assist with the migration and configuration of two servers to aws. This project will serve as a test to evaluate the consultant's capability to handle larger-scale migrations in the future. Migrating the full data is not required, but a nice to have.

The project involves:

Migrating one server with SQL Server Standard running on Windows Server 2019 to AWS.
Migrating a second server with MySQL Enterprise running on Ubuntu 20 to AWS.
Configuring the servers to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
Setting up backup, monitoring, and scaling features in AWS.
Providing documentation and basic training on managing these services in AWS.
We are specifically looking for consultants with experience in handling AWS migrations for both Windows and Linux environments, including SQL Server and MySQL database systems.

Project overview

The project aims to test the consultant's ability to migrate and configure database servers on AWS. It involves the migration of a SQL Server Standard on Windows Server 2019 and a MySQL Enterprise on Ubuntu 20. Successful completion of this project may lead to further opportunities for larger-scale AWS migrations and long-term support work. Note: While Spanish language proficiency is not a strict requirement, it will be greatly appreciated and considered a valuable asset for communication.
