Job Description: Bilingual Front Desk Virtual Medical Receptionist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Bilingual (English/Spanish) Front Desk Virtual Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing appointment scheduling, referrals, and patient communication. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, virtual medical environment.

Responsibilities:
1.    Appointment Management:
o    Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
O    Manage cancellations and fill open appointment slots promptly.
O    Follow up with patients who missed appointments to reschedule.
2.    Patient Communication:
o    Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email, or messaging platforms.
O    Address patient inquiries professionally and empathetically.
3.    Referral and Authorization Processing:
o    Process incoming referrals and obtain necessary authorizations from insurance providers.
O    Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure all documentation is accurate.
4.    Administrative Duties:
o    Sort, review, and respond to incoming faxes and other communications.
O    Maintain accurate patient records and update databases as needed.
O    Assist with other clerical tasks to support the medical office team.
5.    Proactive Problem Solving:
o    Identify potential scheduling conflicts or issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
O    Actively contribute to improving workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:
•    bilingual required
•    proven experience in a medical receptionist or similar administrative role, preferably in a virtual setting.
•    Knowledge of medical terminology and appointment scheduling software is preferred.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
•    Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
•    Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
•    Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and virtual communication tools.
•    Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
