The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will have overall responsibility for strategic planning, implementation, management and operation of all financial activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance, and negotiation.

Responsibility
We are looking for ambitious, motivated individuals to apply their finance, accounting, leadership and operational skills in multiple jurisdictions to lead and further build a strong finance team.
Main responsibilities:
Provide leadership on multiple fronts in performance metrics and reporting, funding and capital allocation
Advise on capital allocation and lead capital discipline across the business, particularly with our private operating companies (e.g., redistribute dividends paid to the parent company)
Lead our operations in the consolidated financial and investment reporting of the company and the group, including public and private market investments
Improve the finance team's systems and processes, including upgrading existing finance and accounting software
Provide advice on tax related matters such as tax planning, provision and compliance processes, review of tax returns, identification and mitigation of tax risks
Report quarterly to the chairman on the performance of the group and its divisions
Establish risk and internal audit functions within the Group with a view to hiring a dedicated risk and audit professional within the next 12 to 24 months
Assist operating companies in developing strategies, business plans, priorities, branding and Claremont standards
Work closely with the Group chairman, Cfo, finance team, finance audit team, investment team and operating company
Provides senior leadership and general management as one of the leaders of the Singapore office

The successful candidate should have the following characteristics:
Chartered accountants with leadership experience in large non-bank business entities, multinational companies or conglomerates
A strategic thinker with special relationship skills who interacts well with the operating company or other external parties on behalf of the company
Experience in financial management of large trans-regional operating companies
International business background, able to work easily in different cultures and regions
Good communication and oral presentation skills
Openness of experience
Clean and professional appearance
Ability to work quickly and multi-task
Meticulous attention to detail
