Full Stack Developer

Robot Sea Monster seeks a highly talented and passionate Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years developing applications or games to join our growing team. We are an innovative digital production studio with extensive experience designing and developing mobile, and web games, ar/vr, web3 blockchain, and commercial applications. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for implementing client-side and server-side functionalities, integrating APIs, and working collaboratively with our team of developers to create exceptional products that engage, delight, and educate users.

Job Summary:
As a Full Stack Developer at Robot Sea Monster, you will work on implementing specific functionalities according to design and technical documentation, ensuring alignment with other application functionalities to promote code reuse and best practice adherence. You will collaborate with backend and third-party services via API integration and engage in problem-solving tasks across the full-stack spectrum. Additionally, you will participate in team meetings, peer reviews, QA and contribute to our company-wide code library. Mandatory work hours are from 8 am to 12 pm pacific time, our studio time. We will have team meetings and need to coordinate work with you.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement specific functionalities based on design and technical documentation, aligning code with other application functionality to promote code reuse and support best practices.
Communicate clearly in English, both in writing and verbally.
Integrate via APIs with backend and third-party services.
Have informed opinions on proper programming standards and be able to explain them to others.
Adapt to solve problems anywhere in the entire technical stack, be it frontend or backend, to ensure project success.
Assist other developers on the team through peer review and QA.
As required, attend team meetings, including project kick-offs, stand-ups, and additional meetings.
Utilize and contribute to the company-wide code library.

Requirements and Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience working with software development teams
Clear English communication skills, both written and verbal
Backend: Laravel PHP and Node.js / Typescript
Frontend: Nuxt.js / Vue.js
Proficiency in backend frameworks, data layers, class architecture, events, and optimization strategies
Strong networking concepts, including sockets, protocols, and client-server communication
Familiarity with deployment and base server interfacing
Web technology expertise: html, css, javascript, and frontend frameworks like vue or react
preferred: familiarity with webgl or similar browser-based graphical technology
strong debugging skills and experience using and building tools to triage and solve issues efficiently.
Ability to quickly implement and write clean, readable, and well-documented code from provided specifications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including non-technical audience communication.
Detail-oriented, quality-driven, straightforward, self-motivated, and proactive.
Ability to work independently and creatively and track multiple deadlines.
Open to accepting constructive feedback on your work.
Familiar with agile development methodologies and project management tools like JIRA or Monday.
