Description:
I am looking for a video editor for a podcast in a temporary role while our editor is away. Episodes will run between 20-90 minutes, depending on the episode, and there is 10 ready to be edited. Our budget is $30 USD per episode.

The editor will need to cut video footage, and make an engaging edit to be posted on Youtube.
The role will also include choosing and extracting key points for social media shorts, that will advertise the full episodes.
Once these selections are approved, you will need to edit ratio for phone screens, and add captions for social media.
Pre-made ads will also have to be inserted into the podcast.

If you have video editing skills, and are fluent in making captions for social media, please reach out so we can further discuss the desired end product.

Project overview

The full episode should be edited to switch angles back and forth between speakers, depending who is talking. For the shorts, I am looking for the editor to choose 4-8 key points of interest to extract for social media (TikTok / Instagram). The points of interest should be funny, profound, interesting, novel or informational highlights, ideally between 30 - 60 seconds. We will then approve the shorts, and send our choices back to have captions added. We usually work with two camera angles, however the host is touring the USA, but we still want the footage to cut back and forth between speakers faces. The podcast covers NSFW content, so you will have to be comfortable with this.
