Looking for: Designer (preferably Singapore-based) to design the first collection of Storia, a new female apparel brand

Storia is a female apparel brand that leans towards a dressy casual style, envisioned to be a bridge between blogshop fashion and formal wear. Customers who don Storia should find them sophisticated and classy, making them suitable for even formal events such as weddings or celebrations.

Beyond designing, the designer will also have the rare opportunity of experiencing the kickstarting of a new brand, which will involve further refining the brand identity and character with its designs. While designer will be paid for the first collection via a project fee, should he/she be keen in a long-term partnership, alternative partnership models may be explored.

The Designer should:

-    Produce concepts and designs for collection
-    Make sketches by hand and CAD
-    Develop patterns
-    Oversee production
-    Select and buy fabrics and trims
-    Be involved in the making up of sample garments
-    Quality control
