Electron app for replace any input text

A desktop app a kind (take a look to grammarly app) which is able to read any text input in otherd apps(e.g. Chrome, word etc) (where the user is typing) and detect a defined pattern, (let say {{anything here}}) call an api and replace the text inside. Gramarlly highlight the errors my app won't do that it will just replace the text in the pattern .

It need to have a Task Icon, when the user click on the icon it should show a settings windows where you can change the pattern (let say from {{xxxx}} to [[xxx]]). This windows will be improved in furthers contracts

Project overview

It should work in Mc and Windows, with the same look and feel that a native app using http://reactdesktop.js.org/ or something similar
