Our Front End Developer is responsible for the production, modification and maintenance of website and web application user interfaces. This involves working closely with designers and developers to turn static designs into interactive and engaging experiences. This a full-time, remote role to start on a 12-month contract. YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO Work closely with a team of Frontend & Backend Developers and graphic designers to theme Drupal websites and build frontend-heavy web applications. Build interfaces that are delightful for end users and that are technically superb. Work as part of a team and contribute to a positive team environment. Provide suggestions and efforts to lift the bar with every new project. WHO YOU ARE Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Familiar with CSS preprocessors like SASS and Bootstrap. A minimum of 3 years proven experience in Frontend development/theming, preferably in Drupal. Strong affiliation with responsive, mobile- & content-first approach. Keen eye for detail and creative ideas for interaction design. Experience and knowledge of Adobe Suite. Profound knowledge of UX/UI. Debugging and issue solving skills. You are flexible, able to work independently and in a team remotely. You easily understand the end-user and client requirements. EXTRAS YOU MAY BRING TO THE TABLE Knowledge of PHP5 and MySQL. Fluent in jQuery. You can't wait to jump ship with Drupal 8 and know how to deal with TWIG. Experimented with stuff like Bootstrap, NodeJS, AngularJS, Backbone, ... You are passionate about Drupal/Open Source. You are familiar with Agile development and are used to working with a version control tools such as Git. Experience in contributing to Drupal modules, community involvement. You can master the Terminal and Drush is your friend.
