We are seeking an experienced freelancer to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a document management system using Bonita BPM. The goal is to evaluate Bonita BPM's capabilities in automating and optimizing the document handling process within our organization. This project will involve the entire document lifecycle, from initial receipt to final processing and result storage.

Key Objectives:

Document Receipt: Implement a system where physical or digital documents are received, scanned (if necessary), and uploaded to Bonita BPM.
Document Registration: Use Bonita bpm to register documents in our core document management system via api. The core system will return detailed processing information and a unique key, which Bonita BPM will ingest for further processing.
Task Assignment: Automatically assign tasks to the initial recipient based on the document details.
Task Reassignment: Allow users to reassign tasks within Bonita BPM if they are not the appropriate responsible party or unable to handle the task.
Document Processing: Track the actions taken by users to process the documents.
Result Storage: Store the results of the document processing in another system via API.
Technical Requirements:

Bonita BPM: Proficient in implementing and configuring processes within Bonita BPM.
API Integration: Skilled in integrating Bonita BPM with other systems using APIs.
Document Management Systems: Knowledgeable in document management systems and their integration with BPM.
Form Customization: Capable of modifying and customizing Bonita BPM forms to meet project requirements.
Independent Frontend: Ability to work with Bonita BPM as a process engine while developing the frontend in another technology.
Project Duration:
The PoC is expected to be completed within 2 weeks.

Deliverables:

Complete configuration of Bonita BPM for document management.
Functional integration with the core document management system via API.
Setup and configuration of the development environment in Bonita BPM.
Detailed documentation of the implemented process.
Implementation and configuration manual for the system in Bonita BPM.
Evaluation report of the PoC with recommendations and potential improvements.

We are currently exploring solutions to improve our document management and believe Bonita BPM can offer the flexibility and capability we need. However, before embarking on a large-scale implementation project, we need to conduct this PoC to ensure Bonita BPM can effectively integrate with our existing systems and meet our business requirements. This PoC is crucial to demonstrate the technical and functional feasibility of Bonita BPM in our environment. If successful, we will proceed with a broader implementation project covering all our document processes.
