Cryptography Expert for Online Banking Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cryptography Expert to join our team in enhancing the security measures of our online banking platform. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge cryptographic protocols and ensuring the protection of sensitive financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Encryption Solutions:

Develop and implement robust encryption algorithms and cryptographic protocols to secure user data, transactions, and communication channels.
Key Management:

Establish and manage secure key storage solutions and effective key rotation policies.
Develop Secure Authentication Mechanisms:

Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and other advanced user verification methods to enhance platform security.
Conduct Security Audits and Vulnerability Assessments:

Perform regular security assessments, penetration tests, and code reviews to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
Ensure Compliance with Regulations:

Ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., pci dss, gdpr) related to data protection and encryption.
Research and Implement Latest Cryptographic Techniques:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in cryptography and security to continuously improve the platform's defenses.
Collaborate with Development Teams:

Work closely with software developers and system architects to integrate cryptographic solutions seamlessly into our existing infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in cryptography, cybersecurity, or a related field, preferably in the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of encryption algorithms, key management practices, and secure communication protocols (e.g., TLS).
Familiarity with compliance requirements and industry standards related to data security (e.g., pci dss, gdpr).
Experience in vulnerability assessment and risk management.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to cryptography and security (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in cybersecurity or cryptography (e.g., cissp, cism, crisc).
Experience with blockchain technology and post-quantum cryptography.
