I bought a Commodo Positive SSL certificate trough Ipage for my site, It’s been installed but when I try to enter the address
https://www.elsouvenir.com in Firefox an add shows me the following:
“Firefox is blocking content on this page. Most pages will work properly even if content is blocked. Insecure content Some Unscripted elements on this website have been blocked”
When I tried to enter the same address in Chrome another message shows me the following:
Your connection to
www.elsouvenir.com is encrypted at 128 bits.
However, this page contains resources which are not secure. While they are in circulation an attacker can modify or change the appearance of the page.
I wrote Commodo about this situation and they replied the following:
“We have checked the certificate installation and access the site
https://www.elsouvenir.com and you are getting this issue because of http reference of images on non secure area in https (secured) page.
SSL certificate has been installed fine with your domain. The actual issue is Unauthenticated content present in the website. When you view the website using Firefox, you can see the padlock icon with a red cross mark along with the Warning : Contains Unauthenticated content.
To fix this issue, please do refer to our support document.
https://support.comodo.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=400&nav=0,1,29
What seems to be the issue is that you need to correct the HTML Scripts on your web page. All scripts should point to https not http.
Please correct any or all scripts that use http to https this will help with displaying images and its contents correctly.”
Besides correcting this situation I would like to redirect all my visits directly to https instead of http.
Can you help me solve this problem?
