Build an airbnb.com style website

Hi,
      I’m looking for someone to build a site for me very much like airbnb.com.  It will be for backpacker experiences and hostels but basically exactly the same sort of functionalities.

I’m looking for someone that can produce quality code that will scale effectively.  If you have relevant experience in building websites with similar features to airbnb.com such as interactive maps and booking systems that would also be a great benefit.

I would like to find someone that can continue to work on the site with me over the long term.  If the site shows promise I’m open to negotiating partnerships with developers.  Development is an important part of the project so ideally whoever is developing the project will feel invested in its success.


I have a basic site already built using node.js and mongolDB.  If someone can build on the existing work effectively that would be preferable, however I’m open to someone starting from scratch using node.js or in another environment.

I’m an Australian travelling through South America and loving it here.  I’m currently in Colombia and planning to stay here for the next year.  My plan is to initially focus on building user-ship in Colombia and South America.
If you are based in Colombia or in a neighbouring country that could be really excellent.  It would be great to have a developer that I can meet face to face.  If not that’s fine also.
