Candidate should
- Have a background in advertising / copywriting / communications / project management / client services
- Be fully bilingual - Spanish & English
- Portuguese is welcome as 3rd language
- Have ready access to WiFi services
- Be available for 2-3 hours a day, 5 days per week —> 10-15 hours per week
- Can be “online” during North American business hours at least 50% of the time, for meetings and calls etc
- Can provide flexible scheduling and can start ASAP
- Can work within established communication channels - weekly Zoom call meetings + emails + Whats App messages


Skills + Technology Stack

Has working knowledge and access to (we can provide access to cloud-based tools):

- Microsoft Word or Google Docs
- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for spreadsheets
- Microsoft Forms or Jotform or TypeForm
- Familiarity with Google Workspace: Google Drive, Gmail email, Google Calendar
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions like Box or Dropbox
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, Monday, ClickUp or Wrike
- Familiarity with messaging tools like WhatsApp or Slack
- Canva for graphic design and editing
- WhatsApp for calls and meetings
- Zoom for video conferencing
- Loom for video editing
- Grammarly for document editing
- Slack for live chat about tasks
- Calendly or Acuity for scheduling
- ChatGPT OpenAI for AI tools
- Github for code management and issue reporting
- Buffer, Loomly or Hootsuite for social media scheduling
- WIX for website updates and blog posting
- QuickBooks for bookkeeping and invoicing

Nice to have includes any coding skills such as Python or HTML

Business Development, Research and Data Entry

- Perform regular qa testing, following qa test plan, on our website and web features

marketing and social media

marketing tasks
- create content calendar social media and blog posts
- draft and edit content, captions and hashtags for social media
- draft and edit narrative for blog posts
- keep social accounts active by liking and following on-trend accounts and posts
- create graphics for social media posts in canva
- push social media posts and blogs into approval queue
- schedule approved social media posts and blog entries
- translate all content to spanish for parallel publishing on platforms
- setup, host and manage 1:1 product introductions with clients in spanish

personal organization and digital errands
- contact utilities in panamá to seek reduced pricing, understand what programs exist to reduce fees
- review all of our subscriptions and identify opportunities to reduce pricing while maintaining/increasing services
- find storage and moving options and obtain quotes
- auction off .com domains

Project overview

We are a couple with a household and (2) businesses and we need an experienced, bi-lingual VA who can execute a variety of different tasks on a weekly basis. Must be well-versed in the tools mentioned and accept increasing responsibility. Great opportunity for a VA to work with business owners and learn new domains
