Position Overview: As a Remote Assistant Architectural Designer, you will play a crucial role in assisting senior architects and designers to contribute to the planning, design, and development of architectural projects. This role involves assisting in various stages of the design process, from initial concept development to construction documentation. The Assistant Architectural Designer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with clients and consultants, and demonstrate a strong understanding of architectural principles and software design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program.
A minimum of 2-3 years of applicable Architectural design experience.
Ability to work independently on architectural design projects with moderate supervision.
Experience working in schematic design, ranging from site planning to interior and exterior design.
Familiarity with surveys (property boundaries, easements, utilities)
Experienced with the development of concepts into project- specific solutions
Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software.
Strong design skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to translate concepts into tangible design solutions.
Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing architectural designs, conceptual sketches, and design presentations under the guidance of senior architects.
Contribute to the creation of schematic drawings, renderings, and 3D models using architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
Collaborate with project teams to conduct site analysis, research zoning regulations, and understand project requirements.
Prepare design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, adhering to industry standards and project specifications.
Support the coordination and integration of engineering systems and building technologies into architectural designs.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and design documentation for client meetings and reviews.
Participate in design charrettes, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques to generate innovative design solutions.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals are met within established timelines and budgets.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and design.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior architects or project managers.
