Sample Story Brief for Writers
The topic for your sample story will be: Where to stay in Bali For Couples. (You can replace with a destination within Bali that you are more familiar with.)
Do note that you will be required to:
1) Write an introduction to the story (100-150 words)

Famously known as Bali’s ultimate cultural hub, Ubud is an amazing mesh of old and new with something to offer to everyone. Visiting alone or with family, Ubud is a one-stop tourist attraction that promises a wide range of activities for everyone within a small distance!
From temple-hopping to yoga retreats and even learning a new art – get ready to be spoiled for choices in this magnificent town that never fails to entertain.
In addition to the breathtaking beaches and glorious sunsets, there are always hidden gems, tucked away in surprising places reserved for those of us looking for an off-beat experience.
So get set to uncover Ubud’s amazing (less commonly known) going-ons!
2) Provide at least of 3 place to stay in Bali. This will allow us to have a glimpse at how you do your research (which is something we value greatly too!).
Each selection of things to do must be accompanied by a sub-header.
Write a description (150-200 words) for each selection.

Sub-header:
Witness a bird invasion – Petulu, Ubud
Description:
When the sun sets every day, thousands of herons from all over Bali fly to the village of Petulu, creating a beautiful vision of white for those who are there to witness it.
The birds are believed to be the guardians that watch over the villagers and protect them from harm.
It’s certainly a sight to behold – during the peak period (around 5pm to 6pm), up to 20,000 herons can be seen roosting in the trees of Petulu, watching the people from above.
Best place to watch? To the south of the village there’s a lookout point ideal for bird watching. Next to the road, you’ll see a sign that reads “the best place to see the herons”.
And here’s where it points to – a small wooden house in the middle of a rice-field owned by an old lady selling cold drinks. So at the right time, you can see the flocks of herons arrive.
The best part – you just need to sit back and enjoy the whole phenomenon with a drink in hand.

3. Provide 2 ~ 3 images for each of the 3 things to do above.
Each image shall have at least 800 pixel in width.
Rename each image as [number of selection]-[sequence of the picture in the selection]-[anything you like to put to describe it]-[image credit].jpg
