Android web app design

Estimado señor

My apologies for not writing in Spanish.  If you would have time, would it please be possible to add some functionality to an existing android app.  Specifically, the app is a barcode scanner app using the zxing library to retrieve the ISBN from the barcode, which then searches the internet for the book's information- i.e.
Author, title, etc. 

I would like other users to be able to scan and add information to the database.  Would this be possible to accomplish.
