Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to support the Controller in service delivery across multiple clients. Responsibilities include:
Managing day-to-day accounting workflows re: revenue recognition, COGS, payroll, inventory, balance sheet reconciliations, and strict adherence to internal controls.
Executing the monthly/quarterly/annual accounting close cycles on behalf of clients.
Producing timely and accurate financial reporting in alignment with us gaap and global accounting standards including financial statements, budget vs actual analysis, kpi reporting, and other ad hoc financial analysis.
Data entry, data reconciliations and database management to support accounting and finance workflows.
Streamlining the monthly close timeline through process optimization and automation while maintaining accounting accuracy and integrity.
Collaborating with stakeholders across client organizations to collect and analyze pertinent data and contextual information essential for accounting workflows.
Requirements:
7+ years of accounting experience (2+ years of us gaap)
accounting degree from major international university
cpa (or equivalent certification) and/or big4 public accounting experience
startup experience (i.e. Small staff accounting operations)
English fluency with strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with us gaap standards (i.e. ASC606, ASC842)
Deep experience with Quickbooks Online, Excel and Google Sheets

Experience configuring and maintaining common accounting and finance platforms:
Bill.com, Brex, Ramp, Gusto, Rippling, Salesforce
Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on clear presentation and accuracy
Strong interest in entrepreneurial business models, venture investment and the US startup ecosystem
Proficiency in prioritization, multitasking, and delivering outcomes in a dynamic setting, while maintaining a strong drive for continuous improvement
